Christmas horror continues as I share from the darker side of Christmas comics this season. Here is one of two stories featured in my Christmas Eve CREEPY Cross-Over with my other home away from home over at BLACK 'N' WHITE AND RED ALL OVER! Two terrific terror tales from CREEPY #59, 1973. For the first story, click on the link in red above. For the second story, look down. There it is.
Both stories feature a mad killer on the loose, and the spirit of Christmas gets a little twisted when all that stands between life and death and evil winning is one good man at Christmas time.

CREEPY # 59 cover art by Manuel Sanjulian.
There's nothing better than a little Corban for Christmas! This story is so popular with Warren fans that I always get at least one or two THOIA readers emailing the scans to me every xmas (even though I posted it in 2007.)
ReplyDeleteA nice double shot of holiday horror, my friend!
Ooops - Karswell,I should have realized you'd already have this one at THOIA! My next post is just gonna be a big arrow pointing to your blog!Thank you, O prince of all things dark and creepy!
ReplyDeleteA scary but still strangely thoughtful story for Christmas. The contrasts between the little girl's life and the officer's and the psychopath's lives are intertwined to meet at each other's destinies is rather chilling.Corben tells this story in the flawless and exciting way he usually does.
